Masculine person, bald with thick red beard and glasses wearing a bright tie dyed t-shirt, bulky blue necklace, and blue camoflauge jeans, sitting with hands clasped in a garden.

“Dr. Leo” Taylor holds a a Ph.D. from Cornell University and a B.S. and M.S. from Ball State University. Over the past two decades he has delivered hundreds of workshops, keynotes, webinars, and lectures. His approach is deeply informed by his lived experience as a queer, disabled, neurodivergent, genderqueer transgender man. He is a co-conspirator with people of color and leverages his privilege as a white, cis-passing man to challenge racial bias and systems of oppression.

Like the phoenix—who sets itself aflame to rise reborn—Dr. Leo views education as the fire that fuels growth. His personal journeys through gender transition and becoming anti-racist inspire his commitment to helping others transform and thrive personally and professionally.

He has collaborated with clients across the U.S. and Canada, reaching thousands and helping to foster more inclusive, compassionate, and equitable environments. At the heart of his work is a belief in the power of visibility and the courage to speak up—especially for those who dare to be different.

Originally from Muncie, Indiana, Dr. Leo now lives in Clintonville, Ohio with his dog, Roxy, and cat, Friend. In November 2024, he proudly celebrated his 25th tranniversary (transition anniversary).
